Crown Point High School Description

Crown Point High School is a public high school located in Crown Point, Indiana. Founded in 1876, it is the oldest high school in Lake County and one of the oldest schools in the state. The school serves students from grades 9-12 and has an enrollment of approximately 1,800 students.

The mission of Crown Point High School is to provide a safe learning environment that encourages academic excellence and personal growth for all students. The faculty strives to create an atmosphere where each student can reach their full potential through rigorous coursework and extracurricular activities.

At Crown Point High School, there are numerous opportunities for students to get involved outside of the classroom. There are over 30 clubs available including National Honor Society, Student Council, Drama Club, Robotics Team, Academic Decathlon team and more! In addition to these clubs there are also many sports teams such as football, basketball, baseball/softball, soccer and track & field which compete at both district and state levels.

Crown Point High School prides itself on its commitment to providing quality education for all its students while fostering a sense of community among them. With dedicated teachers who strive to help every student succeed academically as well as socially; this makes Crown Point High School an excellent choice for any student looking for a great educational experience!
