Graves Elementary School Description

Graves Elementary School is a public school located in Summit Argo, Illinois. It serves students from kindergarten through fifth grade and has an enrollment of approximately 500 students. The school was founded in 1965 and is part of the Cook County Public Schools system.

The mission of Graves Elementary School is to provide a safe learning environment that encourages academic excellence, personal growth, and responsible citizenship. The faculty strives to create an atmosphere where all children can reach their full potential as learners and citizens.

At Graves Elementary School, teachers use innovative teaching methods such as project-based learning, technology integration, and differentiated instruction to engage students in meaningful ways. Students have access to state-of-the-art technology including iPads for every student in grades 3–5; interactive whiteboards; computers with internet access; digital textbooks; online resources; and more.

In addition to academics, the school offers extracurricular activities such as art club, chess club, drama club, robotics team, student council, yearbook staff and much more! There are also many opportunities for parents to get involved at Graves Elementary School through volunteer programs or by joining the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO).

Graves Elementary School provides its students with a quality education that prepares them for success both inside and outside the classroom.
