Murphysboro High School is a public high school located at 50 Blackwood Dr in Murphysboro, IL. Established in 1883, it is the oldest secondary school in Jackson County and serves students from grades 9-12. The school has an enrollment of approximately 600 students and offers a wide range of academic programs including Advanced Placement courses, dual credit classes with local colleges, career and technical education opportunities, as well as extracurricular activities such as athletics, clubs, and student organizations.
