Herrin High School Description

Herrin High School is a public high school located in Herrin, Illinois. Established in 1891, the school serves students from grades 9-12 and has an enrollment of approximately 1,000 students. The school offers a wide variety of courses including English, Math, Science, Social Studies, Physical Education and Health as well as electives such as Art and Music.

The faculty at Herrin High School are dedicated to providing quality education for their students. They strive to create an environment that encourages learning while also promoting respect for each other’s differences. The staff works hard to ensure that all students have access to the resources they need to succeed academically and socially.

In addition to academics, Herrin High School provides many extracurricular activities for its student body including sports teams such as football, basketball and baseball; clubs like National Honor Society; music programs like band and choir; theater productions; art classes; foreign language classes; career exploration opportunities through internships or job shadowing experiences; community service projects throughout the year; and more!

At Herrin High School we believe that every student should be given the opportunity to reach their full potential both inside and outside of the classroom setting. We strive to provide our students with a safe learning environment where they can grow into responsible citizens who will make positive contributions within their communities.
