Glenbard West High School Description
Glenbard West High School is a public four-year high school located in Glen Ellyn, Illinois. It is part of the Glenbard Township High School District 87 and serves students from grades 9 through 12. The school was established in 1956 and has since grown to become one of the top schools in the state.
The student body at Glenbard West consists of over 2,000 students who come from diverse backgrounds and cultures. The curriculum focuses on preparing students for college with rigorous coursework that includes Advanced Placement classes as well as honors courses. In addition to academics, there are numerous extracurricular activities available such as sports teams, clubs, music programs, theater productions, and more.
Glenbard West also offers a variety of support services including counseling services for academic success and personal growth; career guidance; special education resources; health services; and an array of other resources designed to help each student reach their full potential.
