Stanton School Description

Stanton School is a private K-8 school located in Fox Lake, Illinois. Founded in 1887, Stanton has been providing quality education to students for over 130 years. The school offers an innovative and comprehensive curriculum that focuses on developing the whole child through academics, arts, athletics, and character development.

At Stanton School, teachers strive to create a safe and nurturing environment where children can learn and grow. Class sizes are kept small so that each student receives individualized attention from their teacher. In addition to core classes such as math, science, language arts, social studies and physical education; students also have access to art classes as well as music lessons with professional instructors.

The athletic program at Stanton School includes basketball teams for both boys and girls in grades 5-8 as well as soccer teams for all grade levels. Students also have the opportunity to participate in extracurricular activities such as drama club or chess club after school hours.

In addition to its academic offerings, Stanton School places great emphasis on character development by teaching values such as respectfulness and responsibility throughout the year. Through these efforts they hope to instill strong moral principles into their students which will help them become successful adults later on in life.
