Eisenhower High School Description

Eisenhower High School is a public school located in Decatur, Illinois. It serves students from grades 9-12 and has an enrollment of approximately 1,200 students. The school was founded in 1967 and named after the 34th President of the United States, Dwight D. Eisenhower.

The school offers a wide range of academic programs including Advanced Placement (AP) courses as well as career and technical education classes such as automotive technology, culinary arts, health sciences, business management and more. In addition to academics, Eisenhower High School also provides extracurricular activities for its students including sports teams such as football, basketball, baseball/softball and track & field; clubs like student council and National Honor Society; performing arts groups like choir and band; plus many other opportunities for involvement outside the classroom.
