Crete-monee High School Description
Crete-Monee High School is a public high school located in Crete, Illinois. Established in 1887, it serves the communities of Crete and Monee and is part of the Crete-Monee Community Unit School District 201U. The school has an enrollment of approximately 1,400 students from grades 9 through 12.
At Crete-Monee High School, students are encouraged to explore their passions and develop skills that will help them succeed in college and beyond. The curriculum includes core classes such as English, math, science, social studies and foreign language as well as electives like art, music and physical education. Advanced Placement courses are also available for those who wish to challenge themselves academically.
In addition to academics, there are many extracurricular activities offered at the school including sports teams (football, basketball, baseball/softball), clubs (National Honor Society) and performing arts groups (band). There is also a student council which provides leadership opportunities for students interested in making positive changes on campus.
