Telpochcalli Elementary School is a vibrant and diverse learning environment located in the heart of Chicago, IL. Founded in 1993, Telpochcalli has been providing quality education to students from kindergarten through fifth grade for over 25 years. The school's mission is to provide an engaging and supportive educational experience that prepares all students for success in college and beyond.
At Telpochcalli, teachers strive to create a safe and nurturing atmosphere where children can learn at their own pace while developing critical thinking skills. Students are encouraged to explore their interests through hands-on activities such as art projects, science experiments, field trips, and more. In addition to core academic subjects like math, reading/language arts, social studies, and science; the school also offers enrichment classes including music appreciation, physical education (PE), Spanish language instruction, computer technology courses (CTC), library media center services (LMC), health & wellness programs (HWP) ,and after-school clubs & activities.
