Scott Joplin Elementary School is a public school located in the South Side of Chicago, Illinois. It serves students from kindergarten through 8th grade and has been part of the Chicago Public Schools system since its founding in 1965. The school's mission is to provide an excellent education for all children by providing a safe learning environment that encourages academic excellence, creativity, and respect for diversity.

The student body at Scott Joplin consists of over 500 students from diverse backgrounds and cultures. The faculty is dedicated to helping each student reach their full potential academically as well as socially and emotionally. They offer a variety of programs such as after-school tutoring, music classes, art classes, physical education classes, foreign language instruction, and more.

In addition to academics, Scott Joplin also offers extracurricular activities including sports teams like basketball and soccer; clubs such as chess club or robotics club; field trips; community service projects; special events throughout the year; and much more!
