Lane Technical High School Description

Lane Technical High School is a public 4-year high school located in the North Center neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. Founded in 1908, Lane Tech has been providing quality education to its students for over 100 years. With an enrollment of approximately 4,000 students from diverse backgrounds and cultures, Lane Tech offers a wide variety of educational opportunities including Advanced Placement courses, honors classes, career and technical programs as well as extracurricular activities such as sports teams and clubs.

The school's mission is to provide each student with the opportunity to reach their highest potential through rigorous academic instruction combined with real-world experiences that prepare them for college and careers beyond graduation. The faculty at Lane Tech are dedicated to helping students succeed by offering personalized attention and support throughout their time at the school.

In addition to academics, Lane Tech also provides numerous resources for its students including counseling services, tutoring centers, after-school programs and more. The school also boasts state-of-the art facilities such as a library media center equipped with computers and other technology tools; science labs; music rooms; athletic fields; gymnasiums; cafeterias; auditoriums; computer labs; art studios; dance studios and much more.
