John Barry Elementary School Description

John Barry Elementary School is a public school located in the North Lawndale neighborhood of Chicago, IL. Founded in 1887, John Barry has been providing quality education to its students for over 130 years. The school serves approximately 500 students from pre-kindergarten through 8th grade and offers an array of academic programs including math, science, language arts, social studies and physical education.

The faculty at John Barry are dedicated to helping their students reach their full potential by providing them with a safe learning environment that encourages creativity and critical thinking skills. In addition to traditional classroom instruction, the school also provides enrichment activities such as art classes, music lessons and after-school clubs.
