Frederic Chopin Elementary School is a vibrant and diverse learning community located in the heart of Chicago's West Town neighborhood. Founded in 1891, Frederic Chopin has been providing quality education to students for over 125 years. The school serves approximately 500 students from pre-kindergarten through 8th grade.
At Frederic Chopin, we strive to create an environment that encourages academic excellence while fostering creativity and critical thinking skills. Our dedicated faculty works hard to ensure our students receive a well-rounded education that prepares them for success in high school and beyond. We offer a variety of extracurricular activities such as art classes, music lessons, sports teams, and afterschool clubs so that all students can find something they enjoy doing outside of the classroom.
We are proud of our commitment to diversity at Frederic Chopin Elementary School; our student body reflects the rich cultural heritage of Chicago’s West Town neighborhood with children from many different backgrounds attending our school each year. We believe this diversity helps foster understanding among our students and creates an atmosphere where everyone feels welcome and respected regardless of their background or beliefs.
At Frederic Chopin Elementary School, we are committed to helping every child reach their full potential by providing them with the tools they need to succeed both inside and outside the classroom walls!
