Altamont Grade School is a public school located in the small town of Altamont, Illinois. Established in 1887, it has been providing quality education to students for over 130 years. The school serves grades K-8 and offers a variety of programs including music, art, physical education, and technology classes.
The faculty at Altamont Grade School are dedicated to helping each student reach their full potential. They strive to create an environment that encourages learning and growth while also fostering respect among all members of the community. In addition to traditional classroom instruction, teachers provide extra help after school hours as well as tutoring services during lunchtime or before/after school activities.
Altamont Grade School prides itself on its commitment to excellence in academics and extracurriculars alike. Students have access to a wide range of clubs such as robotics, chess club, drama club, yearbook committee and more!
