Sandpoint High School Description
Sandpoint High School is a public high school located in the beautiful city of Sandpoint, Idaho. Founded in 1891, it is one of the oldest schools in the state and has been providing quality education to its students for over 125 years. The school offers a wide range of courses from traditional core subjects such as English, Math, Science and Social Studies to more specialized classes like Art, Music and Physical Education. It also provides an array of extracurricular activities including sports teams, clubs and organizations that allow students to explore their interests outside of the classroom.
The student body at Sandpoint High School consists of approximately 1,000 students from grades 9-12 who come from diverse backgrounds and cultures. The faculty are highly qualified professionals with many years of experience teaching in both public and private settings. They strive to create an environment where all students can learn effectively while having fun along the way.
At Sandpoint High School we believe that every student should have access to a quality education regardless of their background or financial situation. We offer several programs designed specifically for low-income families so they can receive assistance with tuition costs if needed. Additionally, our staff works hard to ensure that each student feels safe on campus by implementing strict safety protocols throughout the building as well as providing counseling services when necessary.
