Alan Shepard Elementary School Description

Alan Shepard Elementary School is a public school located in Long Grove, Iowa. It serves students from kindergarten through fifth grade and has an enrollment of approximately 300 students. The school was founded in 1965 and named after astronaut Alan Shepard, the first American to travel into space.

The school offers a variety of educational programs designed to meet the needs of all its students. These include core academic classes such as math, science, language arts, social studies and physical education; special education services; enrichment activities like music and art; technology-based learning opportunities; and extracurricular clubs for student involvement.
