Le Mars High School is a public high school located in Le Mars, Iowa. Established in 1887, it is the oldest and largest high school in Plymouth County. The school serves students from grades 9-12 and has an enrollment of approximately 800 students.
The mission of Le Mars High School is to provide a safe learning environment that encourages academic excellence, personal growth, and responsible citizenship. The faculty strives to create an atmosphere where all students can reach their full potential through rigorous instruction and meaningful experiences.
Le Mars High School offers a wide variety of courses including Advanced Placement (AP) classes as well as electives such as art, music, physical education, technology education, family & consumer science, business education and more. In addition to academics there are many extracurricular activities available for students including athletics teams such as football, basketball and track; clubs like National Honor Society; student government; drama productions; band performances; choir concerts; robotics competitions; community service projects; field trips and much more!
