Jesup Middle School Description
Jesup Middle School is a public school located in the small town of Jesup, Iowa. Founded in 1883, it has been providing quality education to students for over 130 years. The school serves grades 5-8 and currently enrolls around 500 students from the surrounding area.
At Jesup Middle School, we strive to create an environment that encourages learning and growth while also promoting respect and responsibility among our student body. Our teachers are highly qualified professionals who work hard to ensure each student receives individualized attention and instruction tailored to their needs. We offer a wide variety of courses including math, science, language arts, social studies, physical education, music and art classes as well as electives such as Spanish or computer technology.
In addition to academics, we also provide extracurricular activities such as sports teams (football, basketball & volleyball), clubs (chess club & drama club) and after-school programs like robotics or coding classes. We believe these activities help foster teamwork skills while allowing students to explore new interests outside of the classroom setting.
