Weeks Middle School is a public school located in Des Moines, Iowa. It serves students from grades 6-8 and has an enrollment of approximately 500 students. The school was founded in 1883 and is part of the Des Moines Public Schools district.
At Weeks Middle School, we strive to provide our students with a safe learning environment that encourages academic excellence and personal growth. Our teachers are dedicated to helping each student reach their full potential by providing individualized instruction and support. We offer a variety of extracurricular activities such as sports teams, clubs, after-school programs, and field trips for our students to participate in outside of the classroom.
Our mission at Weeks Middle School is to create an atmosphere where all members of the community can learn together while developing respect for one another’s differences. We believe that every student should have access to quality education regardless of race, gender identity or economic background. We also value diversity within our staff so that all perspectives are represented in our classrooms and hallways.
