Hillgrove High School Description
Hillgrove High School is a public high school located in Powder Springs, Georgia. It was established in 2002 and serves students from grades 9-12. The school has an enrollment of over 2,000 students and offers a wide variety of educational opportunities for its student body. Hillgrove High School boasts a strong academic program with rigorous coursework that prepares students for college and career success. In addition to the core curriculum, the school also provides numerous elective courses such as art, music, foreign language, technology education and physical education.
The faculty at Hillgrove High School are dedicated to providing quality instruction to their students while fostering a safe learning environment where all can thrive academically and socially. The staff works hard to ensure that each student receives individual attention so they can reach their full potential both inside and outside of the classroom.
In addition to academics, Hillgrove High School also offers many extracurricular activities including sports teams such as football, basketball, baseball/softball, soccer and volleyball; clubs like National Honor Society (NHS), Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) and Student Council; performing arts groups like choir and band; plus community service projects throughout the year.
At Hillgrove High School we strive to create an atmosphere where every student feels valued regardless of race or background – one which encourages them to pursue excellence in all areas of life!
