Smitha Middle School Description
Smitha Middle School is a vibrant and diverse learning community located in Marietta, Georgia. Founded in 2002, Smitha Middle School has been providing quality education to students from grades 6-8 for over 18 years. With an enrollment of approximately 1,000 students, Smitha Middle School offers a wide range of academic programs including core classes such as English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies; electives like Art and Music; and Advanced Placement courses.
At Smitha Middle School we strive to create an environment that encourages our students to reach their full potential while developing the skills necessary for success in high school and beyond. Our dedicated faculty works hard to ensure that each student receives individualized attention so they can achieve their goals. We also offer extracurricular activities such as sports teams, clubs and after-school programs which allow our students to explore new interests outside of the classroom setting.
Our commitment to excellence extends beyond academics with a focus on character development through service projects within the local community. Through these initiatives we hope to instill values such as respect, responsibility and integrity into our student body so they may become responsible citizens who are prepared for college or career paths upon graduation from Smitha Middle School.
