Jackson High School is a public school located in Jackson, Georgia. It serves students from grades 9-12 and has an enrollment of approximately 1,000 students. The school was founded in 1887 and is part of the Butts County School System.
The mission of Jackson High School is to provide a safe learning environment that encourages academic excellence and personal growth for all students. The faculty strives to create an atmosphere where each student can reach their full potential through rigorous instruction, meaningful activities, and positive relationships with peers and staff members.
At Jackson High School, there are numerous extracurricular activities available for students to participate in such as sports teams (football, basketball, baseball/softball), clubs (National Honor Society, Student Council), music programs (band & chorus) and more! Additionally, the school offers Advanced Placement courses which allow qualified students to earn college credit while still attending high school.
Jackson High School prides itself on providing quality education for its diverse student body by offering a variety of educational opportunities both inside and outside the classroom setting.
