Forsyth Central High School Description
Forsyth Central High School is a public high school located in Cumming, Georgia. It serves students from grades 9-12 and has an enrollment of approximately 2,000 students. The school was founded in 2002 and is part of the Forsyth County Schools system.
The mission of Forsyth Central High School is to provide a safe learning environment that encourages academic excellence, personal growth, and responsible citizenship. The faculty at FCHS are dedicated to helping each student reach their full potential through rigorous coursework and extracurricular activities.
At FCHS there are many opportunities for students to get involved with clubs such as National Honor Society, Student Council, Key Club, Art Club, Drama Club and more! There are also numerous sports teams including football, basketball, baseball/softball, soccer and track & field.
Forsyth Central High School offers a variety of Advanced Placement courses as well as dual enrollment classes which allow students to earn college credit while still in high school. In addition to academics the school provides career counseling services for those interested in exploring different career paths after graduation.
Overall Forsyth Central High School strives to create an atmosphere where all students can succeed academically while developing into productive members of society who will make positive contributions to their community.
