Eastside High School Description
Eastside High School is a public school located in Covington, Georgia. It serves students from grades 9-12 and has an enrollment of approximately 1,400 students. The school offers a wide variety of academic programs including Advanced Placement (AP) courses, honors classes, career and technical education (CTE), special education services, and extracurricular activities such as athletics, clubs, and student organizations.
The faculty at Eastside High School are dedicated to providing quality instruction for all their students. They strive to create an environment that encourages learning while also promoting respect for diversity among the student body. The teachers work hard to ensure that each student receives individualized attention so they can reach their full potential both academically and socially.
In addition to its rigorous curriculum offerings, Eastside High School also provides many opportunities for students to get involved outside the classroom through sports teams like football and basketball or by joining one of the many clubs available on campus such as art club or debate team. There are also plenty of volunteer opportunities available throughout the year which allow students to give back to their community while gaining valuable experience in leadership roles.
At Eastside High School we believe that every student should have access to a high-quality education regardless of background or financial status; therefore we offer several scholarship programs designed specifically with this goal in mind. We want our graduates to be well prepared for college life when they leave us so we provide them with resources such as college counseling sessions and SAT/ACT prep classes free of charge during their senior year.
