Clements Middle School Description

Clements Middle School is a public school located in Covington, Georgia. It serves students in grades 6-8 and has an enrollment of approximately 1,000 students. The school was founded in 1965 and is part of the Newton County School System.

The mission of Clements Middle School is to provide a safe learning environment that encourages academic excellence, personal growth, and responsible citizenship. The faculty and staff strive to create an atmosphere where all students can reach their full potential as learners and citizens.

Clements Middle School offers a variety of educational programs including core classes such as math, science, social studies, language arts/reading, physical education/health, music/art/drama, technology education and world languages (Spanish). In addition to these courses there are also elective classes available for students to explore different interests or career paths they may be interested in pursuing after graduation.

The school also provides extracurricular activities such as athletics (football, basketball), clubs (chess club) and student organizations (National Junior Honor Society). These activities help foster teamwork skills while providing opportunities for leadership development among its student body.

At Clements Middle School we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to succeed academically and socially within our community. We strive to ensure that each student receives the best possible education so they can become successful members of society when they graduate from high school.
