Sequoyah High School Description
Sequoyah High School is a public high school located in Canton, Georgia. Founded in 2002, Sequoyah High School has become one of the most successful schools in Cherokee County. With an enrollment of over 1,700 students and more than 100 faculty members, Sequoyah offers a wide variety of educational opportunities for its students.
At Sequoyah High School, students are encouraged to explore their interests through rigorous academic courses and extracurricular activities. The school's curriculum includes Advanced Placement (AP) classes as well as honors classes that challenge students to reach their highest potentials. In addition to academics, Sequoyah also provides numerous clubs and organizations such as student government, National Honor Society, Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), Key Club International and many others.
Outside the classroom, Sequoyah boasts some impressive athletic teams including football, basketball, baseball/softball and soccer among other sports. The school also hosts several events throughout the year such as homecoming dances and pep rallies which bring together the entire community for fun-filled days filled with spirit and pride!
Overall, Sequoyah High School is an excellent choice for any student looking for a quality education combined with plenty of opportunities to get involved both inside and outside the classroom!
