Parkside Elementary School Description
Parkside Elementary School is a public school located in the heart of Atlanta, Georgia. Founded in 1885, Parkside has been providing quality education to students for over 130 years. The school serves approximately 500 students from pre-kindergarten through fifth grade and offers an array of educational programs including music, art, physical education and technology classes.
The faculty at Parkside are dedicated to helping each student reach their full potential by creating a safe and nurturing learning environment that encourages exploration and creativity. Teachers use innovative teaching methods such as project-based learning to engage students in meaningful activities that promote critical thinking skills. In addition, the school provides afterschool programs such as tutoring services and extracurricular activities like sports teams and clubs so that all students can participate in enriching experiences outside of the classroom.
At Parkside Elementary School, we strive to create a community where everyone feels welcome and respected regardless of race or background. We believe that every child deserves access to high-quality education no matter what their circumstances may be. Our goal is to ensure our students have the tools they need to succeed both inside and outside of the classroom walls!
