Long Middle School Description
Long Middle School is a public school located in the heart of Atlanta, Georgia. Founded in 1967, Long Middle School has been providing quality education to students for over 50 years. The school serves grades 6-8 and offers an array of academic programs including Advanced Placement (AP) courses, honors classes, and special education services.
The faculty at Long Middle School are dedicated to helping their students reach their full potential through rigorous instruction and individualized attention. With a student-teacher ratio of 15:1, teachers have the opportunity to get to know each student on a personal level and provide them with the support they need to succeed academically.
In addition to its strong academics program, Long Middle School also provides extracurricular activities such as sports teams, clubs, after-school tutoring sessions, and field trips that help foster creativity and collaboration among its students. The school also hosts various events throughout the year such as career days and science fairs that allow students to explore different interests outside of the classroom setting.
At Long Middle School we strive for excellence both inside and outside of the classroom by creating an environment where all students can feel safe while learning new skills that will prepare them for success in high school and beyond!
