Hawthorne Elementary School is a vibrant and diverse learning community located in the heart of Atlanta, Georgia. Founded in 1965, Hawthorne has been providing quality education to students for over 50 years. The school offers an array of educational opportunities including core academic classes such as math, science, language arts, social studies and physical education. In addition to these traditional subjects, Hawthorne also provides enrichment programs like art, music and technology that help foster creativity and critical thinking skills.

The faculty at Hawthorne are dedicated to creating a safe and nurturing environment where all students can reach their full potential. They strive to create meaningful relationships with each student so they can provide individualized instruction tailored to meet their needs. With small class sizes and experienced teachers who have specialized training in teaching English Language Learners (ELLs), Hawthorne ensures every student receives the attention they need to succeed academically.
