B.e.s.t Academy At Benjamin S Carson Description
B.E.S.T Academy at Benjamin S Carson School is a public charter school located in Northwest Atlanta, Georgia that serves students from kindergarten through 8th grade. The school was founded in 2008 and has since grown to serve over 500 students each year. B.E.S.T stands for Building Excellent Schools Together and the mission of the school is to provide an excellent education to all its students regardless of their background or economic status.
The curriculum at B.E.S.T Academy focuses on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) as well as literacy skills such as reading comprehension and writing proficiency with an emphasis on critical thinking skills throughout all subjects taught at the school including social studies, physical education, art, music and foreign language classes like Spanish or French depending on availability of teachers who are certified in those languages..
In addition to academics, BESTA also offers extracurricular activities such as sports teams like basketball and soccer along with clubs like chess club or robotics club which allow students to explore different interests outside of class time while still learning valuable life lessons about teamwork and collaboration among peers from diverse backgrounds .
At BESTA we believe that every student should have access to quality education no matter what their circumstances may be so we strive everyday to ensure our students receive the best possible educational experience they can get!
