Burney-Harris-Lyons Middle School is a public school located in Athens, Georgia. Founded in 1969, the school serves students from grades 6 to 8 and has an enrollment of approximately 1,000 students. The school's mission is to provide a safe learning environment that encourages academic excellence and personal growth for all its students.
The curriculum at Burney-Harris-Lyons Middle School focuses on preparing students for high school by providing them with rigorous instruction in core subjects such as math, science, language arts, social studies and foreign languages.
