Polytech High School Description

Polytech High School is a public high school located in Woodside, Delaware. Founded in 1965, the school has been providing quality education to students from all over the area for more than 50 years. With an enrollment of approximately 1,200 students, Polytech offers a wide range of courses and activities that are designed to meet the needs of each individual student.

The faculty at Polytech consists of highly qualified teachers who strive to create an environment where learning can take place in a safe and supportive atmosphere. The curriculum includes core classes such as English, math, science and social studies as well as electives like art, music and physical education. Advanced Placement (AP) courses are also available for those looking to challenge themselves academically.

In addition to academics, Polytech provides numerous extracurricular activities including sports teams such as football, basketball and soccer; clubs like drama club or chess club; and other organizations like National Honor Society or Student Council. There are also many opportunities for community service projects throughout the year which allow students to give back to their local communities while developing leadership skills at the same time.

At Polytech High School we believe that every student should have access to a quality education regardless of their background or financial situation. We strive to provide our students with the tools they need not only succeed academically but also become responsible citizens within their communities.
