Dover High School Description

Dover High School is a public high school located in Dover, Delaware. It serves students from grades 9-12 and has an enrollment of approximately 1,400 students. The school offers a wide variety of academic programs including Advanced Placement (AP) courses, honors classes, career and technical education (CTE), special education services, and college preparatory classes.

The school also provides extracurricular activities such as athletics, clubs and organizations for student involvement. Athletics include football, basketball, baseball/softball, soccer, volleyball and track & field teams that compete at the state level. Clubs range from National Honor Society to Future Business Leaders of America to Student Councils.

At Dover High School there are many opportunities for students to get involved in their community through service learning projects or volunteer work with local organizations like Habitat for Humanity or Big Brothers Big Sisters of Delaware. The faculty works hard to ensure that all students have access to quality educational experiences while fostering a safe environment where everyone can learn and grow together.
