The Gilbert School Description
The Gilbert School is a private, co-educational college preparatory school located in the small town of Winsted, Connecticut. Founded in 1895 by William L. Gilbert and his wife Mary, The Gilbert School has been providing quality education to students for over 125 years.
The school offers an array of academic programs including Advanced Placement courses, honors classes, and electives such as music and art. Students are encouraged to explore their interests through clubs and activities like student government, robotics team, drama club, yearbook staff and more.
