Middlebrook School Description

Middlebrook School is a private, co-educational day school located in Wilton, Connecticut. Founded in 1891, Middlebrook has been providing quality education to students from pre-kindergarten through eighth grade for over 125 years. The school's mission is to provide an environment that encourages intellectual growth and personal development while fostering respect for individual differences.

At Middlebrook, the curriculum focuses on developing critical thinking skills and problem solving abilities as well as building strong foundations in language arts, mathematics, science and social studies. In addition to core classes, students can choose from a variety of electives such as art, music and physical education. Students also have access to technology resources including computers with internet access and interactive whiteboards.

The faculty at Middlebrook are highly qualified professionals who strive to create an atmosphere of learning where each student feels valued and respected. They use innovative teaching methods that engage students in their own learning process while encouraging them to take ownership of their academic success.

Outside of the classroom, there are many extracurricular activities available for students including sports teams (soccer, basketball), clubs (chess club) and afterschool programs (drama).
