Windham High School Description

Windham High School is a public high school located in Willimantic, Connecticut. Established in 1891, Windham High School has been providing quality education to the students of Windham County for over 125 years. The school offers a comprehensive curriculum that includes courses in English, math, science, social studies and foreign languages as well as electives such as art and music.

The student body at Windham High School consists of approximately 1,200 students from grades 9-12 who come from diverse backgrounds and cultures. The faculty is dedicated to helping each student reach their full potential by offering individualized instruction and support services. In addition to academics, the school also provides extracurricular activities including sports teams such as football, basketball and soccer; clubs like drama club or chess club; and after-school programs like tutoring or mentoring.

Windham High School prides itself on its commitment to excellence both inside and outside the classroom. With an emphasis on developing strong character traits such as respect for others and responsibility for one’s actions, Windham High School strives to create an environment where all students can thrive academically while learning important life skills along the way.
