Coventry High School Description

Coventry High School is a public high school located in Coventry, Connecticut. Founded in 1891, it serves the students of Coventry and surrounding towns. The school has an enrollment of approximately 1,000 students from grades 9-12.

The mission of Coventry High School is to provide a safe learning environment that encourages academic excellence and personal growth for all its students. It offers a comprehensive curriculum with courses ranging from core subjects such as English, math, science and social studies to electives like art, music and physical education. In addition to traditional classes, the school also provides advanced placement (AP) courses for college credit as well as career technical education programs in areas such as automotive technology and culinary arts.

Coventry High School prides itself on providing extracurricular activities that promote student engagement outside the classroom. These include sports teams such as football, basketball and soccer; clubs like drama club or robotics team; and other activities like band or chorus performances. The school also hosts several events throughout the year including dances, concerts and plays put on by its talented student body.
