Bacon Academy Description

Bacon Academy School is a public high school located in Colchester, Connecticut. Established in 1803, Bacon Academy has been providing quality education to the students of Colchester and surrounding towns for over two centuries. The school offers a comprehensive curriculum that includes core academic courses such as English, math, science, social studies and foreign language; electives such as art, music and physical education; and advanced placement classes.

The faculty at Bacon Academy are dedicated to helping each student reach their full potential by providing individualized instruction tailored to meet the needs of every student. In addition to traditional classroom learning experiences, the school also provides extracurricular activities including sports teams (football, basketball, baseball/softball), clubs (drama club, robotics club) and other special interest groups (chess club).
