Barnum School Description

Barnum School is a public elementary school located in Bridgeport, Connecticut. It serves students from kindergarten through fifth grade and has an enrollment of approximately 500 students. The school was founded in 1887 and named after P.T. Barnum, the famous showman who lived nearby.

The school offers a comprehensive curriculum that includes core subjects such as math, science, language arts, social studies, physical education and health.
