Manitou Springs High School Description
Manitou Springs High School is a public high school located in Manitou Springs, Colorado. Established in 1891, it is the oldest high school in El Paso County and one of the oldest schools in the state. The school serves students from grades 9-12 and has an enrollment of approximately 600 students.
The campus features modern facilities including a library/media center, computer labs, science laboratories, art studios, music rooms and athletic fields. Students have access to a variety of extracurricular activities such as sports teams (football, basketball, baseball), clubs (National Honor Society) and performing arts groups (band).
Manitou Springs High School offers rigorous academic programs that prepare students for college or career success after graduation. Courses include Advanced Placement classes as well as honors courses in English Language Arts & Literature; Mathematics; Science; Social Studies; World Languages; Physical Education & Health; Fine Arts & Technology Education.
