Highlands Ranch High School Description

Highlands Ranch High School is a public high school located in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. It is part of the Douglas County School District and serves students from grades 9-12. The school was established in 1997 and has since grown to become one of the largest schools in the district with over 2,000 students enrolled.

The school offers a wide range of academic programs including Advanced Placement (AP) courses, honors classes, career technical education (CTE), and college preparatory classes. Additionally, there are numerous extracurricular activities available such as sports teams, clubs, student government organizations, and performing arts groups.

Highlands Ranch High School also provides its students with access to state-of-the-art facilities including an auditorium for performances and assemblies; two gymnasiums; a library/media center; computer labs; science laboratories; art studios; music rooms; cafeterias; outdoor athletic fields and courts; weight training areas; locker rooms; classrooms equipped with interactive whiteboards or projectors for presentations or lectures.

At Highlands Ranch High School we strive to create an environment that encourages learning while fostering respect among our diverse student body. We believe that every student should have equal access to quality educational opportunities regardless of their background or ability level so they can reach their full potential.
