Overland High School is a public high school located in Aurora, Colorado. It serves students from grades 9-12 and has an enrollment of approximately 1,800 students. The school was established in 1971 and is part of the Cherry Creek School District.
At Overland High School, students are encouraged to pursue their passions through a variety of academic programs and extracurricular activities. The curriculum includes Advanced Placement (AP) courses as well as career technical education classes that prepare students for college or the workforce after graduation. Students can also participate in athletics such as football, basketball, baseball, softball, track & field, swimming & diving, soccer and volleyball. Additionally there are many clubs available including student government organizations like Student Council and National Honor Society; service groups like Key Club; performing arts ensembles such as choir and band; language clubs like Spanish Club; STEM related clubs like Robotics Team; special interest groups such as Anime Club; media outlets such as Yearbook Staff; competitive teams like Academic Decathlon team; leadership development opportunities with Leadership Academy; outdoor recreation with Outdoor Adventure Club and more!
