Tracy High School Description
Tracy High School is a public high school located in Tracy, California. Established in 1891, it is the oldest and largest secondary school in San Joaquin County. The school serves over 2,000 students from grades 9-12 and offers an array of academic programs including Advanced Placement (AP) courses, college preparatory classes, career technical education (CTE), special education services, and extracurricular activities.
The campus features state-of-the-art facilities such as a library media center with computers for student use; science labs; art studios; music rooms; athletic fields; tennis courts; basketball courts; swimming pool; weight room and fitness center. In addition to its rigorous curriculum offerings, Tracy High School also provides numerous clubs and organizations that allow students to explore their interests outside of the classroom. These include National Honor Society chapters, robotics teams, drama productions, yearbook staffs and more.
At Tracy High School we strive to create an environment where all students can reach their full potential academically while developing strong character traits that will help them become successful citizens in our community. We are proud of our diverse student body which reflects the rich cultural heritage of our city’s population. Our dedicated faculty works hard to ensure each student receives individualized attention so they can achieve success both inside and outside the classroom walls!
