Dual Language Academy of the Monterey Peninsula (DLAMP) is a public charter school located in Seaside, California. Founded in 2009, DLAMP provides an innovative and rigorous bilingual education to students from kindergarten through eighth grade. The mission of DLAMP is to provide a high-quality educational experience that prepares all students for success in college and career while developing their Spanish language skills.
At DLAMP, students are immersed in both English and Spanish instruction throughout the day. This approach allows them to develop fluency in both languages as well as gain cultural understanding and appreciation for different cultures. In addition to core academic subjects such as math, science, social studies, and language arts, DLAMP also offers enrichment classes including art, music, physical education/health sciences, technology/engineering design projects and more.
The faculty at DLAMP consists of highly qualified teachers who have been trained specifically for dual language instruction.
