Santa Rosa High School Description
Santa Rosa High School is a public high school located in Santa Rosa, California. Founded in 1891, it is the oldest high school in Sonoma County and one of the oldest schools in California. The campus sits on 1235 Mendocino Avenue and serves over 2,000 students from grades 9-12.
The school offers an array of academic programs including Advanced Placement (AP) courses, honors classes, career technical education (CTE), special education services, and college preparatory classes. It also provides extracurricular activities such as athletics teams for boys' and girls', clubs like robotics or drama club, student government organizations, music ensembles and more.
Santa Rosa High School has been recognized by U.S News & World Report as one of America's Best High Schools for its commitment to excellence in academics and extracurriculars alike.
