Simons Middle School Description

Simons Middle School is a public school located in Pomona, California. It serves students from grades 6-8 and has an enrollment of approximately 600 students. The school was founded in 1965 and is part of the Pomona Unified School District.

At Simons Middle School, we strive to create a safe and nurturing learning environment for our students. We offer a variety of academic programs that are designed to meet the needs of all learners. Our curriculum includes core subjects such as English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Physical Education/Health, Technology Education/Computer Science and World Languages (Spanish). In addition to these courses, we also provide enrichment classes such as Art & Music Appreciation and Robotics & Engineering Design.

We believe that extracurricular activities play an important role in helping our students develop their skills outside the classroom setting. At Simons Middle School we offer clubs such as Chess Club, Drama Club and Student Council which allow our students to explore their interests while developing leadership qualities. Additionally, we have several sports teams including basketball, soccer and volleyball which give our student athletes the opportunity to compete with other schools in the area.

Our faculty members are dedicated professionals who work hard every day to ensure that each student receives quality instruction tailored specifically for them. We also have strong partnerships with local businesses and organizations which help us provide additional resources for our students’ success both inside and outside of the classroom walls.
