Perris High School Description
Perris High School is a public high school located in Perris, California. Established in 1891, it is the oldest high school in Riverside County and one of the oldest schools in Southern California. With an enrollment of over 2,000 students from grades 9-12, Perris High School offers a comprehensive educational experience for its diverse student body.
The school's curriculum includes core classes such as English, Math, Science and Social Studies as well as electives like Art, Music and Physical Education. The faculty at Perris High School are dedicated to providing quality instruction that prepares students for college or career success after graduation. In addition to academics, the school also provides extracurricular activities including sports teams (football, basketball and soccer), clubs (drama club and robotics team) and other organizations (student government).
Perris High School has been recognized by several organizations for its excellence in education. It was named a National Blue Ribbon School by the U.S Department of Education in 2018 and received an A+ rating from GreatSchools.org based on test scores and parent reviews. The school also boasts numerous awards for its athletic programs including multiple CIF championships across various sports teams since 2000.
