Community Collaborative Charter School (CCCS) is a public charter school located in McClellan, California. Founded in 2011, CCCS provides an innovative and engaging learning environment for students from kindergarten through eighth grade. The school's mission is to provide a safe and nurturing educational experience that encourages creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
At CCCS, teachers use project-based learning to engage students in their studies while also teaching them the importance of working together as part of a team. Students are encouraged to explore their interests and develop their own unique talents through hands-on activities such as gardening projects or field trips to local museums. In addition to traditional academic subjects like math and language arts, CCCS offers classes on topics such as art history and computer science.
The school also emphasizes character development by providing opportunities for leadership roles within the student body. Through clubs like Student Council or National Junior Honor Society, students can learn how to work with others towards common goals while developing important life skills such as communication and conflict resolution.
Outside of the classroom, CCCS has plenty of extracurricular activities available for its students including sports teams like basketball or soccer; music programs; theater productions; robotics competitions; chess tournaments; outdoor education camps; community service projects; and more! With so many options available at Community Collaborative Charter School, it’s no wonder why this vibrant learning community continues to grow each year!
