Long Beach Polytechnic High School is a public high school located in Long Beach, California. Founded in 1895, it is the oldest and largest comprehensive secondary school in the Long Beach Unified School District. With an enrollment of over 4,000 students from grades 9-12, Long Beach Polytechnic High School offers a wide variety of academic programs and extracurricular activities to meet the needs of its diverse student body.
At Long Beach Polytechnic High School, students have access to rigorous college preparatory courses as well as career technical education pathways that prepare them for success after graduation. The school also provides numerous opportunities for students to get involved with clubs and organizations such as robotics teams, debate teams, music ensembles and more. Additionally, there are many athletic programs available including football, basketball, baseball/softball and track & field.
