Christopher High School Description
Christopher High School is a public high school located in Gilroy, California. Founded in 1972, the school has been providing quality education to its students for over four decades. The school offers an array of educational opportunities and extracurricular activities that help foster student growth and development.
The campus consists of two main buildings: the Main Building which houses classrooms, offices, and other facilities; and the Athletic Center which includes a gymnasium, weight room, locker rooms, and outdoor sports fields. Christopher High School also boasts a library with more than 20 computers available for student use as well as several computer labs throughout the building.
At Christopher High School there are numerous clubs and organizations such as National Honor Society (NHS), Student Council (STUCO), Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), Key Club International (KCI) , Robotics Team , Drama Club , Art Club , Yearbook Staff , Environmental Science Club , Mathletes , Mock Trial Team . These clubs provide students with unique experiences outside of their regular classes while allowing them to explore different interests or develop skills they may not have had access to otherwise.
Christopher High School also provides many athletic programs including football, basketball, baseball/softball, soccer, volleyball, track & field/cross country running teams along with cheerleading squads for both boys’ and girls’ teams. All athletes must maintain academic eligibility requirements set by the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF).
Overall Christopher High School strives to create an environment where all students can reach their full potential academically while having fun participating in various activities on campus!
